New Orleans Harley-Davidson displays a gratitude wall dedicated to all who have served our country. It proudly reads “We honor all our veterans – thank you!”
Designed and constructed by a N.O.H.D. employee (also a veteran), the wall incorporates logos from all five branches of the military, names Medal of Honor recipients from the state of Louisiana, lists best-known battles (from WWII through to current conflicts) and displays campaign ribbons from those conflicts.
Inspiration for the wall came from employees and customers who have served our country’s military. As one employee explained, “We want to personally thank every veteran. This wall was everyone’s idea – it expresses the spirit of our dealership.”
