2010 Harley-Davidson V-Rod
The
2010 Harley Davidson V-Rod is inspired by the drag strip. It has a free-revving Revolution V-Twin engine. The engine is rubber-mounted in a hydroformed steel perimeter frame. A large volume airbox located over the engine is covered by a shell.
The
Harley Davidson V-Rod has a two-tone silver and charcoal powder-coated power train with chrome covers. It is equipped with chrome exhaust with dual slash-cut mufflers. The front wheel is laced anodized aluminum. The rear wheel is machined, slotted disc cast aluminum. The front fender has chrome brace supports. The handlebar is pull-back stainless steel. The hand controls are black. The headlamp bracket is chrome and the seat is a two-piece, two-up textured seat. A main feature of the
V-Rod is the high-performance Brembo triple-disc brakes.
The engine on the
2010 V-Rod is a liquid-cooled, Revolution 60 degree V-Twin. The valves are overhead cam with four valves per cylinder. The displacement on the engine is 76.28 cubic inches. The compression ratio is 11.5:1. The fuel system uses the Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. The lubrication system is wet- sump and is integrated with the power train crankcase. The drive train is a 9-plate wet clutch with assist and slip. The transmission is a 5-speed.
The chassis on the
Harley V-Rod is a steel perimeter up frame with hydroformed main rails and lower frame rails. It is MIG welded. The swing arm is polished, one-piece cast aluminum. The front forks are custom wide 49 mm. The rear shocks are preload adjustable. The brakes on the 2010
V-Rod feature 4- piston front and rear calipers. The rotors are patented, one-piece floating and are uniform expansion. An ABS option is available.
The torque of the
2010 Harley Davidson V-Rod is rated at 84 ft. lbs at 7000 rpm. The fuel economy is rated at 34 city and 42 highway. The battery in the

Harley-Davidson V-Rod is 5 gallons, oil capacity is 5 quarts, and coolant capacity is 2.50 quarts. Color options for the
bike include Vivid Black, Brilliant Silver Pearl, Red Hot Sunglo, and Black Ice Pearl. The only two-tone color is the Flame Blue Pearl/ Brilliant Silver Pearl.
