2010 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special
The
2010 V-Rod Night Rod Special is derived straight from the drag strip. The
V-Rod Night Rod has special features such as a speed-screen visor. It also sports slick racing stripes. The length and stance of the

2010 Night Rod's engine has a black powder-coated power train with black covers. The straight-shot exhaust on the
Night Rod has brushed finish dual mufflers with black end caps and exhaust shield. The front fender has black brace supports. The speed screen visor is color-matched to the rest of the
bike. The handlebar on the
harley motorcycle is stainless steel, low-rise drag-style. The mirrors, rear shocks and controls are all black. The frame is black and there is a two-piece, two-up textured seat.

The chassis on the
V-Rod Night Rod has a steel perimeter upper frame with hydroformed main rails and bolt-on lower frame rails that are MIG welded. The swingarm is polished, one-piece cast aluminum with a black powder-coat finish. The front forks are wide 49 mm and custom. The rear shocks are preload adjustable. Wheels are black, slotted disc cast aluminum. The brakes have 4-piston calipers in the front and rear. The rotors are patented, one-piece floating with uniform expansion.
The
V-Rod Night Rod's fuel economy is 34 city and 42 highway. The battery is a sealed, maintenance-free, 12 volt that uses three-phase charging. The starter is electric with direct drive motor engagement. The headlamp is quartz with a 55-watt low beam and a 60-watt high beam. An indicator lamp on the
bike flashes low oil pressure, engine diagnostics, coolant temperature, low fuel warnings etc. The dimensions of the
bike include a length of 94.40 inches, an overall width of 34.60 inches, and an overall height of 45.50 inches. Ground clearance is 4.20 inches. Rake is 34 degrees and fork angle is 36 degrees.
