The 2010 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle can be classified as high performance but still maintains cruiser functionality. The V-Rod has a few distinct features. One feature is the hydrofomed steel perimeter frame that the engine is rubber-mounted into. Another feature is the large volume airbox located over the engine. Finally, a five gallon fuel cell sits below the seat.


The 2010 Harley Davidson V-Rod Muscle's power train comes platinum powder-coated with polished covers. It has satin chrome dual exhaust with turn-out mufflers. A sport fender with black brace supports and blacked-out rear section sits over the front tire. A polished aluminum handlebar with an integrated riser adds flair to this beast. Polished forged aluminum triple clamps and a chopped rear fender show the V-Rod's aggressive nature. A satin black headlamp bucket, stylized rear shocks with black springs, black frame, and deep, drag-style two-up seat complete the V-Rod?s look.

The V-Rod Muscle's engine is a liquid cooled, Revolution 60 degree V-Twin. The valves are overhead cam with four per cylinder. The displacement is 76.28 cubic inches and the compression ratio is 11.5:1. The fuel system is Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. The lubrication system is wet-sump that is integrated with the power train crankcase. The clutch is a nine plate, wet with assist and slip functions. The transmission is a 5-speed.

The chassis on the h-d motorcycle is a steel perimeter upper frame with hydroformed main rails and bolt-on lower frame rails. The chassis is MIG welded. The swingarm is polished, one-piece cast aluminum. Front forks are 43 mm and are inverted. Wheels are black, 5-spoke cast aluminum.

Brakes on the V-Rod Muscle have 4- piston calipers on the front and rear. The rotor is a patented, one- piece floating and has uniform expansion. An Anti-Lock Braking System is available as an option. Sidecar compatibility is also available if desired. The V-Rod Muscle's engine torque is rated at 86 ft. lb at 6500 rpm. Fuel economy is rated at 34 city and 42 highway. The battery is sealed, maintenance- free and has 12 volts of power. It uses three-phase charging. The headlamp is halogen and displays a 55-watt low beam and a 65- watt high beam. Indicator lamps flash low oil pressure, engine diagnostics, low fuel warnings etc.

The dimensions of the harley motorcycle include a length of 92.80 inches, an overall width of 40.20 inches and an overall height of 45.70 inches. Ground clearance is 4.80 inches. Rake is 34 degrees and fork angle is 34 degrees. Tires are the Harley-Davidson Dunlop Series radial black wall?s and they sit at the front and the rear. Fuel capacity is 5 gallons, oil capacity is 5 quarts, and coolant capacity is 2.50 quarts. Color options include Vivid Black, Brilliant Silver Pearl, Black Denim, and Red Hot Sunglo.
