2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide
The
2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide provides long-haul comfort and plenty of cargo space while still maintaining a unique style. Two features are unique to the
Ultra Classic Electra Glide. One feature is the mid-frame air deflectors. Another feature is the vented removable fairing with integral storage compartments.
The
H-D Ultra Classic Electra Glide comes standard with a black powder-coated power train with chrome covers. The
motorcycle also features a chrome 2-1-2 dual exhaust with tapered mufflers. A bat-wing fork-mounted fairing-mounted with a Lexan shield sits atop the front of the bike. Air deflectors that are smoked and made of Lexan are mounted on the fairing and can be adjusted. The
Ultra Classic's fuel tank is chrome as well as low profile. It also houses a console. The front fender of the
motorcycle comes customized with trim. A classic
touring, stainless steel handlebar fits snugly on the front of the bike.
The
Ultra Classic Electra Glide receives a one-piece, two up classic comfort stitch seat. A nice comfort feature of the
Ultra Classic Electra Glide is the addition of a passenger backrest with wrap-around armrests. Injection-molded hard saddlebags, injection molded hard tour-pack with soft luggage liners, storage pockets and wrap around tail/brake lights complete the package. The
motorcycle features a fairing-mounted electronic speedometer and tachometer plus fuel, voltage, oil temperature and air temperature gauges come standard. A technologically advanced 80-watt four-speaker Advanced Audio System by Harmon/Karmon with CD player/ MP3 player and CB/Intercom completes the package.
The engine on the
Ultra Classic Electra Glide is a rubber-mounted Twin Cam 96 V-Twin engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. Heated oxygen sensors and electronic throttle control are also present. The engine has pushrod-operated, overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters and two valves per cylinder. The displacement on the engine is 96 cubic inches. The compression ration is 9.2:1. The air cleaner on the bike is washable. The lubrication system is pressurized and the drive train is dry-sump. The clutch is a wet, multi-plate. The transmission is a 6-Speed Cruise Drive.
The chassis on the
2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide consists of a mild steel tubular frame with a two-piece stamped and welded backbone, cast and forged junctions, twin downtubes, and a bolt-on rear frame with forged fender supports. The frame is also MIG welded. The front forks on the
bike are 41.3 mm telescopic, triple circuit damping. The rear shocks are air-adjustable. The wheels of the
bike are 28-spoke cast aluminum. The brakes consist of 4-piston fixed front and rear calipers and patented, fixed rotors. An Anti-Lock Braking System is an available option as well as sidecar compatibility.
The performance on this motorcycle consists of 92.60 ft. lbs. of torque at 3500 rpm. Fuel economy clocks in at 35 city and 54 highway. The battery on this
bike is a charging three-phase, 50-amp system. The starter is electric with solenoid shift motor engagement. The dimensions of the
bike include a length of 98.60 in., an overall width of 38.0 in. and overall height of 61.0 in. Ground clearance is 5.10 in. The rake on the bike is 26 degrees and the fork angle is 29.2 degrees. The tires are Dunlop
Harley-Davidson Series, bias narrow whitewalls. Fuel capacity is 6 gallons. Oil capacity is 4 quarts and transmission capacity is 1 quart. The color options of the
2010 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide include Vivid Black, Flame Blue Pearl, and Red Hot Sunglo. The two-tone paint job includes Flame Blue Pearl/ Brilliant Silver Pearl and Vivid Black/Brilliant Silver Pearl. Custom colors include Merlot Sunglo/ Cherry Red Sunglo and White Ice Pearl/Black Ice Pearl.
