2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide

2010 Harley Davidson Street Glide is for you. The
2010 Street Glide is a street/touring hybrid. It has the power and style of a street
bike with the convenience of a Touring
bike. It can pull double duty by housing all of your gear but still giving the rider the power they can find in other non touring
Harley Davidson models.
The
2010 Harley Davidson Street Glide sports an 18-inch front wheel with a lower profile. It is complete with a 2-into-1 exhaust and single, four-inch diameter chrome muffler. A new feature added to the
Street Glide is a chrome bracket that doubles as a visor and sits right above the low mounted license plate. The
Street Glide comes with a recognizable black powder-coated powertrain with chrome covers. The
bike also features black, slotted disc cast aluminum wheels. A lowered rear suspension gives this
bike a sleek and attractive stance. The front of the
bike consists of a bat-wing, fork-mounted fairing that has a smoke, mini wind deflector. Fairing-mount mirrors are also standard. The front fender of the
Harley Davidson does not come with any trim. The fuel tank of the
bike is low-profile, chrome, and features a console. The handlebar is stainless steel, and is classic touring. The seat is a one piece two-up
Harley Street Glide seat. The injection-molded hard saddlebags come with color matched latches and ensure that no luggage falls out regardless if the rider makes the mistake of leaving the latches undone.
The front of the
motorcycle contains silver-faced, fairing-mounted electronic speedometer and tachometer gauges as well as fuel, voltage, oil pressure, and ambient air temperature gauges. There is also an added touch of streamliner footboards, passenger pegs, and brake pedal. A 40-watt, two-speaker Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon is standard and comes with the added bonus of a CD/MP3 player.
The engine on the
Street Glide is the rubber-mounted Twin Cam 96 V-Twin engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. This engine also comes with oxygen sensors and Electronic Throttle Control. It is air cooled and the valves are pushrod-operated, overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters. There are also two valves per cylinder. The displacement on the engine is 96 cubic inches. The compression ratio is 9.2:1. The fuel system on
the 2010 Street Glide is the Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. The lubrication system on the
bike is pressurized and the drive train is dry-sump. The clutch is a multi-plate and wet. The
H-D Street Glide also uses the 6-Speed Cruise Drive transmission.
The chassis on the
2010 Street Glide is mild steel with a tubular frame. It is two-piece stamped and has a welded backbone. It also has cast and forged junctions with twin downtubes. The rear frame is bolt-on with forged fender supports. The frame is MIG welded. The swingarm on the
Street Glide is mild steel and has a two-piece drawn and welded section with forged junctions. It is also MIG welded. The rear shocks on the bike are short and air-adjustable.
The brakes on the
2010 Harley Davidson Street Glide consist of 4 piston fixed front and rear calipers. The rotors on the brakes are patented and fixed. An Anti Lock Braking System is available and there is also an available Suspension Travel feature. A sidecar can be attached to the bike if desired.
The performance on the
Street Glide is solid. The engine torque is 92.60 ft. lbs. at 3500 rpm. The fuel economy for the
bike is 35 city and 54 highway. The battery is a 12 volt that is sealed and maintenance free. The starter is electric and has solenoid shift motor engagement. The lights are halogen and beam at 55 watts on low and 60 watts on high. Indicator lamps alert the rider of low oil pressure, engine diagnostics, and whether the bike is low on fuel. Cruise control is an option on this model. The dimensions of this model are 95.0 in. for the length, 38.0 in. for the width, and 52.20 in. for the height. Ground clearance is 4.70 in. and rake is 26 degrees. Oil capacity is 4 quarts while transmission capacity is 1 quart and fuel capacity is 6 quarts.
The color options for the
Harley-Davidson Street Glide are Vivid Black, Scarlet Red, Brilliant Silver Pearl, Black Denim, and Red Hot Sunglo. Custom Colors include Merlot Sunglo/Cherry Red Sunglo and White Ice Pearl/ Black Ice Pearl.
