The 2010 Harley Softail Deluxe features a fuel tank sender for accurate fuel- level readings. A chrome shotgun exhaust sits proudly on the side of the bike. The motorcycle has nice ,chrome laced ,steel wheels with big whitewall tires. The seven-inch ball headlamp protrudes out the front of the Harley. A chrome oil tank sets off the bike with added style. The chrome tank console that is stock on this bike has an electronic speedometer. A stainless steel, low-rise handlebar adds a sporty touch to this H-D. Full-length footboards, an integrated chrome luggage rack, tombstone taillight, two-piece two-up softail seat and full-coverage front and rear fenders with chrome accents complete the package.


The engine on this 2010 Harley is an air-cooled, Twin Cam 96BTM. The valves are pushrod-operated, overheads, with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters. The engine has two valves per cylinder. The displacement on the Softail Deluxe is 96 cubic inches. The compression ratio is 9.2:1. The fuel system uses Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. The air cleaner on the bike is washable and the lubrication system is pressurized as well as dry-sump. The clutch is a wet, multiplate and the transmission is Harley's 6-speed Cruise Drive.

The chassis on this motorcycle has a mild steel, tubular, frame with a rectangular section backbone. It also has a rectangular section backbone that is stamped, cast, and has forged junctions as well as forged fender supports. It is MIG welded. The swingarm on the bike is mild steel with round tube sections and forged junctions. It is MIG welded as well. The front forks on the Harley measure at 41.30 mm and are telescopic. They feature ?beer can? covers as well. The rear shocks are hidden, horizontal-mounted and are coil-overs.

The calipers on the brakes are 4-piston on the front and 2-piston in the rear. The rotors are patented with uniform expansion. Performance on this bike is rated at 93.67 ft. lbs. of torque at 3000 rpm. Fuel economy is 35 city and 54 highway. The battery is sealed as well as maintenance-free and is 12 volts. The headlamp is halogen with a 55-watt low beam and a 60-watt high beam. Indicator lamps display low oil pressure, engine diagnostics, low fuel warnings etc. The length of the bike is 94.70 inches, the overall width is 38.60 inches, and the overall height is 44.30 inches. The ground clearance on the Softail is 4.80 inches. Rake is 32.1 degrees and fork angle is 32 degrees.

The tires on the motorcycle are Dunlop Harley-Davidson Series wide whitewall. Fuel capacity is 5 gallons, oil capacity is 3.50 quarts, and transmission capacity is 1 quart. The color options available for this bike are Vivid Black, Flame Blue Pearl, and Red Hot Sunglo. Two-tone colors include Scarlet Red/Vivid Black and White Ice Pearl/ Black Ice Pearl.
