The 2010 Harley Davidson Road King Classic focuses more on a nostalgic look as opposed to Harley's new age looks. Details such as a tooled leather seat and leather-wrapped saddlebags give off that signature Harley appearance. Wide white-walled tires and laced wheels complete the package.

The Harley-Davidson Road King Classic comes standard with a black powder-coated powertrain with chrome covers. The chrome 2-1-2 dual exhaust screams authentic Harley as a result of its slash-up end caps. The fuel tank console on the Road King Classic will induce nostalgia; however, its gets an added technological advancement in the form of an electronic speedometer. The front fender of the bike has a classy trim and the rear fender has a deluxe trim. This particular motorcycle also features a stainless steel, ergonomic handlebar. The engine on the Road King Classic is a rubber mounted Twin Cam 96 engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. The engine also has heated oxygen sensors and an Electronic Throttle Control. The engine is air-cooled and has pushrod-operated overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters. There are two valves per cylinder. The engine's displacement is 96 cubic inches and the compression ratio is 9.2:1. The air cleaner on the Road King Classic is washable. The lubrication system is pressurized and the drive train is dry-sump. The clutch is a multi-plate wet clutch. The transmission is Harley's 6-speed Cruise Drive.

The chassis on the 2010 Road King Classic is a mild steel, tubular frame. It is two-piece, stamped and has a welded backbone. Forged junctions, twin downtubes, and a bolt-on rear frame with forged fender supports completes the package. The frame is also MIG welded. The swing arm is a mild steel with a two-piece drawn and welded section. The swing armis also MIG welded with forged junctions. The front forks are 41.30 mm and are telescopic. The wheels on this motorcycle are chrome and steel laced.

The calipers on the brakes of the Harley Road King Classic are 32 mm 4-piston fixed front and rear. The rotors are patented and fixed. An Anti-Lock Brake system is an available option on this motorcycle. Also, a sidecar is compatible with this particular bike.

The performance on this 2010 Harley is substantial. The engine torque is 92.60 ft. lbs. at 3500 rpm. The fuel economy is 35 city and 54 highway. The battery is a sealed, maintenance -free 12 volt. The charging is three phase with a 50 amp system. This bike also comes with a solenoid shift starter motor engagement. Custom color options are Merlot Sunglo/Cherry Red Sunglo as well as White Ice Pearl/Black Ice Pearl.
