Sportster heritage. The

Sportster's otherwise innocent appeal and morphs it into an intimidating and ferocious force to be reckoned with.
The
2010 Harley Davidson Forty-Eight features a blacked out rubber-mounted Evolution 1200 cc V-Twin engine with polished covers. The stock peanut tank with lightening hole mounting bracket reminds the rider that
Harley still has faith in the way they use to do things in regards to
bike building and that heritage is important to them. The seat that comes on the bike is the classic one-piece, solo
Sportster seat. The seat height on the bike is 26 inches. The handlebar is low profile as well as custom. Mirrors on the bike are under-mounted inspiring a sleek and menacing gaze. Front forks have wide triple clamps.
The
Harley Forty-Eight's front fender is chopped and mounted on the fork brace. Components on the
bike such as the air cleaner cover, clutch and brake levers, and turn signal are blacked out. The rear fender is chopped as well. The license plate is side-mounted for style. The
Harley-Davidson Smart Security System is optional.
