Super Glide is a solid choice from the
Harley Davidson lineup.
The
Super Glide comes equipped with what is referred to as the "Staggered Shorty Exhaust". It also comes with a sport front fender and color-matched brace supports. The rear fender is wrap around with stainless steel polished supports. It comes with a classic solo seat for comfort and ease of use. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Scorcher tires featuring a new tread pattern for aggressive style and enhanced control on the road.
The
Harley Super Glide is 92.8 inches in length. The ground clearance of the
harley motorcycle is 4.6 inches. The rake on the
bike is 29 degrees. Fuel capacity is 4.7 gallons and oil capacity is 3 quarts. The engine on the
Super Glide used to be rated at 1340cc from years 1985-1998. The
bike got a significant increase in 1998 to 1450cc. Currently, the
motorcycle has been rated at 1584cc?s.
The Bikes World.com describes the
H-D Super Glide as a coupled-down, clear-cut steel twin loop crib having a twin shock rear end. The
bike can still be considered predictable and is enjoyable as well as being sensible to use around town. The
Super Glide is essentially one of the most basic
Harley's available.
The chassis on the
2010 Harley Davidson Super Glide has changed from the past and a new one has been developed. The re-engineered frame is connected to a wider, stiffer swingarm and has significantly larger one-inch diameter axles on both wheels. The forks on the
bike have been lengthened to 49mm which is 10mm longer than previous models. A triple clamp offset is added to the
Super Glide as well
. Harley claims that all of these changes were put into place to improve the overall handling of the bike.
